Regular price $13.95Walnut oil is an ideal medium for working with earth pigments. It's non-toxic and slow-drying and it does not yellow over time like linseed oil. With a high refractive index, it's great for pigment mixing, paint thinning, brush cleaning or making natural wood stains.

Directions: Scoop earth pigment onto a palette, create a small crater at the top of mound, and then pour a small amount of walnut oil on top. Mix with a palette knife or glass muller until you achieve the desired consistency.
About the brand: Natural Earth Paints was founded in 2009 by a soon-to-be mom who had to work full-time prepping for a large solo art exhibition. She realized that she didn't want to expose her baby to all the toxic chemicals found in traditional paints. And so Natural Earth Paints was born.
